We met up with Nicole "early", around 10 am (she takes after her Mommi) and off to Boulder we go!
It was a nice sunny drive, a lot of little dirt mounds off to the sides of the road in the fields. Prairie dogs!! They were so cute......yea, yea I know they are rodents, but cute little rodents! Got to Boulder, walked around the pedestrian mall, ate lunch at a great little Italian place on the mall.
We went to Celestial Seasonings for a tour. I love going on company tours! David tolerates these things, but he does learn something! Interesting tour, they have a mint room to store all the peppermint in solitary confinement since it is soooo very strong and would impart it's scent to whatever it's stored with. After you step into the room your eyes and nose burns, even feel it in your chest. It certainly cleared out my sinuses! We had samples in the tea room, looked in the gift shop and away we go back to Denver. Had a GREAT dinner at Wokano, dropped Nicole off and went to rest up for the next day of fun as tourists on Pike's Peak.......and to meet the boyfriend!!!!! Poor guy, don't ya feel sorry for him?!
